Why you should have faith in high protein low carb dieting. If you do this diet properly results will be major weight loss, and you will lean out from your entire proper protein intake.High protein low carb diet is very beneficial when used properly. When on this diet there are a few things to keep in mind, if you have a very high protein intake with low carbs do not think you can cheat on this diet and still make it work. If you’re on this diet and cheating this will result in weight gain, but if used properly you will see weight loss results almost immediately. This diet was designed for weight lifters, but will work on any work out you may do. When you have a very high intake of protein you’re body will lean almost immediately while the low carbs give you the energy you need thru out your day. You should try to have about 90 grams of protein intake per day along with your low carbs. I know this sounds like a lot but if you fit some protein shakes in your day like in between breakfast and lunch and then again between lunch and Dinner this can be accomplished with little effort. A good rule of thumb for low carbs are all your green veggies (lettuce, green beans, spinach, broccoli ect). As long as you have fresh vegetables you can have endless veggie intake. All fresh vegetables are very good for you; try to stay away from canned veggies. When feeling hungry thru out your day carry some fresh cut veggies with you to snack on like celery, carrots ect. When finishing up your workout’s you should have a protein shake immediately following or protein bar. After working out your body needs to be refueled with in 45 minutes time frame, this properly feeds your muscles and burns major fat. Protein bars can be high in carbs so be careful, if you have a protein bar with high carbs break it up eat half in-between breakfast and then eat the other half after lunch. Proper eating time should be every two hours for maximum weight loss. Make sure you get in your 5 small meals a day, making sure you get in a protein serving for each meal.Protein shakes are good meal replacements if you are not able to have a good high protein low carb meal. More protein sources are eggs, or egg beaters.

When choosing your protein a good serving size would fit in the palm of your hand, and make sure it’s a healthy choice of protein. Fish and Chicken are the best choices for women. Red meat is ok but try to keep it to a minimum because red meat holds more fat and is harder to break down in your system. When choosing a protein powder go with Whey protein, this protein has been proven to break down in the body the fastest for rebuilding muscles.

Make sure while on this diet you get plenty of water intake. Water is always good for you system but good water intake helps speed up your metabolism while keeping you hydrated. You should have a gallon of water intake a day. I know that sounds like a lot but if you always have a bottle of water in hand you are less likely to drink other things that are just added calories you don’t think about. If you have an office job to where you sit all day keep a gallon of water at your desk. This will make it easy to drink water instead of having to get up and go look for something to drink that you will regret drinking later. Good water intake is also good for your skin, just healthy all the way around. Proper water intake has been proven to make you look 10yrs younger. So come on give it a try what do you have to loose, if you have any questions please leave a comment or email me at angie@brilliantangie.com

I know everytime you sit down to eat something you probably start to have a panic attack, well don’t. Just think meat and greens and high protien, low carbs. When having to decide on what to eat for a healthy meal remember you need a peace of healthy meat and something green for a side. You can have anywhere from a green salad or your choice of green veggies. When deciding on something to drink think no sugar. You can have a large glass of ice water or a large glass of iced tea.Keep dieting simple!
